About The Position

Braze Operator Duties: Notching and routing of cracks Visual inspection for cracks using a 10X magnifierMixing braze alloys with appropriate powders/liquids Dry honing/ grit blasting in an enclosed booth wearing protection gloves Apply braze alloys and stop off using a syringe Perform general departmental housekeeping regularly Sustain production standards and quality Perform in-process visual inspections, dimensional inspections and cosmetic final clean up Regular attendance and punctuality required Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements along with NADCAP Documenting travelers accurately after operations are performed Follow and utilize Lean Manufacturing principles Maintain, implement and improve 5S principles Adhere to and improve safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned Moving parts & materials to next operation Use hand tools to form the braze pre-forms Resistance tack welding Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily List the requirements below that are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the job.

  • Ability to read, interpret and understand work in-process documents
  • Manual dexterity

  • Provides accurate feedback to the department supervisor pertaining to quality issues

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous light/medium industrial experience
  • Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities
