About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced METRC Compliance & Bookkeeper to oversee regulatory compliance and financial record keeping for a cannabis operation based in Santa Ana. This role requires a professional who can confidently manage both compliance workflows and day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate understands cannabis regulations, inventory controls, and bookkeeping systems, and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

Requirements

• Direct experience with METRC (required)
• Strong understanding of inventory control systems
• High level of accuracy and organizational skills
• Due to industry requirements, candidates must be 21 years or older.
• Applicants must provide valid documentation verifying their authorization to work in the U.S.

• Cannabis industry compliance experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all METRC transfers, intake, and outgoing shipments
• Ensure purchases are made only from compliant, licensed farms
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation
• Print and manage METRC tags and product labeling
• Oversee customer sales forms and regulatory documentation
• Monitor and enforce compliance procedures across departments
• Handle cash management in accordance with internal controls
• Support audits and regulatory inspections
• Provide compliance-related customer service support
• Process invoices and sales orders
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with payroll coordination
• Work within Zoho and QuickBooks
• Support financial reporting and documentation as needed
