About The Position
This position is for a Nuclear Parts Master Office (NPMO) within Commodity Engineering (E68) responsible for a variety of commodities across multiple Engineering disciplines. Candidate is responsible for managing the NNPN parts catalog, approval of various Supplier Technical Qualification Documents, as well as approving/coordinating the approval of VIRs and QNs. Must Have Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience. Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice To Haves
- Nuclear Engineering 4000 trained and experience with obtaining material for nuclear work
- Experience with i2 and SAP
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering/design/material processes
- Understanding of ship construction processes
- Understanding of company business management principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage and direct the work of others
