MI Production Operator I
About The Position
Follow all safety procedures, including the wearing of all required personal protective equipment. Follow all Process Control requirements and utilized Process Stop when operation is out of standard. Read and follow work instructions, including Standardized Work instructions, and procedures for the job they are running. Verify proper components are at the work area before beginning using Router. Operate a molding press, drill press, Hands Free grinding, assembly machine, or any other piece of equipment for which they are trained. Inspect all parts produced for quality using Quality Book. Package and Hot labeling parts correctly. Fill out completely all required paperwork for production and quality. Propose improvements and participate in problem solving using the Safety Corner Board, Continuous Improvement Suggestions, and participating in monthly Communication and Awareness initiatives. Keep area clean and orderly, per 5S requirements, this includes aisle ways and areas around the equipment being used. Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor Perform job according to efficiency requirements and production schedule. Follow procedures for Scrap escalation and accurately complete Rate Cards.
