About The Position

This is a lab‑based role focused on hands‑on environmental sample collection and routine laboratory support. Key Responsibilities Perform environmental monitoring within controlled cleanroom and process areas to ensure compliance with environmental and aseptic standards. Collect environmental samples from high‑purity water systems, clean steam, and compressed gases as part of routine monitoring. Support daily lab operations, including cleaning controlled temperature units (CTUs), operating the autoclave, and assisting with general laboratory upkeep. Assist with equipment-related activities, such as coordinating calibration and maintenance, to maintain operational readiness and compliance. Use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample logging, tracking, and data documentation. Participate in rotating schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage, to support 24/7 operational needs. Cleanroom Requirements No cosmetics (including makeup or false eyelashes) may be worn; all must be fully removed before entry. Nails must be short and unpolished; no artificial nails, polish, or decorations. No jewelry permitted except one smooth ring band or approved medical alert items. Hair must be fully secured in a hairnet; facial hair must be trimmed and completely covered with a beard cover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field OR Associate’s degree in Life Sciences with relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to meet physical demands, including: Lifting items of 25 lbs or more Walking and standing for extended periods Pushing/pulling carts and equipment Bending and reaching for supplies as needed
  • Ability to learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow instructions and company policies.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, strong organizational skills, and scientific aptitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with high self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.
  • Familiarity with microbial identification procedures.
  • Environmental monitoring experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of cGMP regulations.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
