About The Position

The MicroSeal Slitter will be responsible for operating the Slitters while following work instructions and best practices. A MicroSeal Slitter must have the ability to collaborate with peers and management, demonstrate exceptional judgement, and display a high degree of professional maturity while modeling loyalty, integrity, and honesty.3rd Shift Position: 12:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, plus $.85/hr shift premium.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Three to twelve months’ related manufacturing experience
  • Proven record of exceptional attendance in previous positions
  • Ability to understand and follow ISO Work Instructions
  • Ability to problem solve which requires one or two operations: some work with fractions, decimals, percentages, and averages, manually or with a calculator
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as needed
  • Ability to record production related information in writing
  • Ability to check reports, forms, records, and comparable data where interpretation is required using basic knowledge of the position

Responsibilities

  • Refer to Manufacturing Order to determine details and specifications of material to be produced
  • Set up Slitter according to Machine Set Up specifications
  • Follow procedures for reporting non-conforming product per ISO Work Instruction
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Complete Manufacturing Run Sheet and Quality Checklist
  • Slit fabric following Work Instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and integrity of Slitter work environment
  • Record documentation as required
