About The Position

U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a Business Central ERP Specialist in either a full-time role or contract position. In addition, the candidate must have proven experience working with Business Central in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Analyst or comparable field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Central ERP Specialist, Consultant, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in report writing within Business Central and Power BI dashboard/report development.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment using Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).
  • Solid understanding of ERP processes in manufacturing including production planning, supply chain, inventory management, shop floor operations, and finance.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and query development.
  • Knowledge of ERP configuration, workflows, and user permissions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and clear reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data integration between Business Central and other business systems.
  • Familiarity with extensions/customizations in Artificial Learning language.
  • Microsoft certification in Business Central or Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP System.
  • Develop, customize, and optimize reports in Business Central, ensuring accuracy and usability.
  • Build interactive dashboards and advanced reports in Power BI to support business analysis and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with finance, operation, and manufacturing teams to understand reporting and system needs.
  • Support manufacturing specific ERP processes such as Bill of Materials, routing, work order, production scheduling, and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related issues, providing user support and training as required.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across both the ERP and reporting systems.
  • Work with vendors and IT team to implement system updates, integrations, and enhancements.
