Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) Senior Developers
About The Position
Avanade Inc. is seeking Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) Senior Developers in San Diego, CA to be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging customizations and extensions to D365FO as part of Avanade’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) engagements. In this role, you will: implement and support D365FO at Avanade’s clients; use deep knowledge and familiarity with the D365FO application to serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design; design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use; serve as technical expert on development projects and participate in full software development life cycle including requirements analysis and design; design, develop, document, test and debug customizations and extensions in D365FO; write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements; identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation; and support functional consultants in tracing errors during prototyping. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. A qualified applicant must live within reasonable commuting distance of San Diego, CA.
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management Information Systems, or closely related technical field
- five (5) years of experience utilizing D365FO in a technology or IT consulting environment
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations in X++ development
- 5 years of experience providing Azure Services including, but not limited to, Logic Apps, Function Apps and Service Bus
- 3 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services
- 3 years of experience performing database administration and query optimization for SQL Server database systems (on-premises and Azure)
- 3 years of experience working with Web Servers and SharePoint technologies to facilitate collaboration for web services integration and analytics
- 3 years of experience performing full life cycle D365FO implementations in a hands-on, technical and system administration capacity
- 3 years of experience presenting technical materials to clients and leading offshore/nearshore teams
Responsibilities
