Mid-Level Associate – Commercial Finance (Atlanta)
About The Position
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking a mid-level associate with at least two years of related experience to join our Commercial Finance team in our Atlanta office. Our Commercial Finance team represents clients in a diverse array of secured financing transactions, advising on a broad spectrum of complex deals including syndicated lending transactions, leveraged acquisitions, and mezzanine/second lien structured lending. Associates work closely with experienced practitioners and regularly collaborate with our Mergers & Acquisitions team to support acquisition financings and other strategic transactions. You will play an integral role in structuring, negotiating, and closing sophisticated financing matters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial lending transactions, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in commercial finance or a related practice
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Nice To Haves
- Experience with syndicated lending, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, sponsor-backed financings and/or mezzanine lending transactions preferred
