About The Position

We are seeking analytical, detail-oriented and experienced Civil and Structural Engineers to join our team in Rockville, MD/the DMV area. The location will be determined based on site/client office location per opportunity. Develop and review civil and/or structural engineering designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water systems Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering components into larger projects Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction documents Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any engineering challenges Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project-related issues Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards Utilize advanced engineering software to create accurate models and simulations Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 4-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant structural analysis software
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience with local building codes and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
