About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analyst (Level 3) to join the team in Everett, Renton, or Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; Mesa, AZ; Hazelwood, MO; Long Beach or Seal Beach, CA. As a financial analyst of the company’s environmental remediation activities, you will be an integral contributor to the advancement of Boeing’s sustainability goals. In this role, you will work closely with Global Enterprise Sustainability’s Environmental Remediation Team and other key stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to interface with senior executives as you drive robust financial management across various remediation sites and partner to ensure the company meets critical strategic initiatives and complies with emerging and evolving compliance requirements. It is a dynamic finance position that allows you to utilize technical financial skills as well as operational problem solving. This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management or Estimates at Completion
  • 1+ years of budgeting experience

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 1+ years of experience in Sustainability/Environmental Remediation

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Remediation project managers, Legal and external technical support to develop forecasted estimates for environmental remediation sites
  • Manage monthly project performance versus forecasted costs to inform current year forecast and Long Range Business Plan decision making
  • Present quarterly financial changes to Finance and Environmental Remediation management
  • Assist with Quarterly Financial Reviews to Accounting over Environmental Remediation site activity and financial impacts
  • Partner closely with Indirect Supply Chain in assisting with Environmental Remediation vendor requisitions and invoices
  • Work collaboratively with Environmental Remediation management to support program management initiatives and systems
  • Help develop and ensure compliance with project financial controls
