We are currently seeking an experienced Mid-level Traffic Engineer to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our Dayton, Ohio office. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering is required.
  • P.E. license required
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Experience working with state DOTs preferred.
  • Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, TransModeler, VISSIM, AutoCAD/MicroStation/Geopak/Open Roads Designer and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong technical background with good client skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • PTOE is preffered.
  • Experience with Travel Demand Modeling Software (TransCAD, CUBE), ArcGIS, SignCAD preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual and NCDOT Congestion Management Guidelines.

  • Occasionally visit work sites, monitoring project progress and reports findings.
  • Ability to meet all safety requirements if/when visiting a work site.
