About The Position

MIDDLE SCHOOL - ENGLISH TEACHER 2026-2027 School Year The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for a middle school teaching position (English) that will be available within our division for the 2026-2027 school year. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with the appropriate endorsement to teach English at the middle school level
• Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
• Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers

Nice To Haves

• Experienced or have working familiarity with virtual education
• Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment
