Harvard-Westlake School seeks an exceptional and highly qualified educator to teach Math at the Middle School (grades 7-9). Our department teaches a rigorous curriculum, consisting of courses from Pre-Algebra through Precalculus, to students possessing a broad range of math aptitudes. We pride ourselves on the care afforded to students at an individual level, for collaborating on curriculum, and for active participation in the greater school community. We are looking for candidates with a passion for teaching, mathematics, and working with middle school students. Furthermore, you should have a strong work ethic, high standards for self and others, and excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ideal candidates will be excited by becoming part of our vibrant school community, broadly engaging with students and colleagues, and attending events outside their particular field of study.
