What You Will Do: The Deputy ELMT Site lead will partner with the ELMT Engineering Director, Military Customer Support, Module Center Engineering, Military Program Offices, and Sustainment Operations leadership to develop and maintain a self-sufficient Engine Life Management Team (ELMT). The Deputy Leader will help develop and maintain strategy, tactics, and performance metrics ensuring the ELMT provides superior engineering support for all Military Engines Sustainment Operations worldwide and the US Air Force Propulsion Maintenance Group at Tinker Air Force Base

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Ability to obtain US Air Force Base access credentials
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required with 12+ years of engineering experience or 10+ years of experience with an advanced degree
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership experience with ability to lead by influence and the ability to collaborate across multiple functional domains and operate in a VUCA environment

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated problem solving capability with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a job function involving gas turbine engine hardware

Responsibilities

  • Assist the ELMT director to be an Engineering leadership focal point for multiple operational military engine programs
  • Work with site leadership to establish ELMT growth & development strategy
  • Assist ELMT leadership with implementation of strategic vision
  • Ensure ELMT staffing aligns with need
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team in resolution of complex issues
  • Ensure effective processes are in place to drive ELMT efficiency & ensure timely support of depot operations
  • Ensure effective integration of the ELMT throughout the global depot network
  • Collaborate directly with Military Engines Sustainment Operations leadership
  • Collaborate directly with US Government engineering staff to ensure alignment and enable crisp task execution
  • Engage with internal and external customers to establish clear priorities for the ELMT
