About The Position

Cedar Hills Hospital is looking for a Military Services Program Manager to provide leadership for the Military Services Program. They will ensure that the delivery of services meets the needs of the community and are in alignment with hospital goals to provide patients with high quality care. Duties include oversight for military services operations including clinical services, transportation coordination, intake and assessment, and utilization review. This position supports patients through their length of treatment by collaborating with multi-disciplinary treatment teams, communicating and coordinating with referral sources, bases, patients transitioning into and out of the program and outside providers. Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and outpatient services program that serves adults facing an acute behavioral health crisis related to issues of mental health, substance abuse and substance use disorder, as well as co-occurring disorders related to these circumstances. Our programs aim to provide lasting mental health rehabilitation through programs that re-establish a high quality of life.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, or a minimum of three years experience in advanced clinical/management practice. Military service or connection.
  • Licensure: State licensure in mental health, preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA, and TCADA regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
  • May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel from time to time

Nice To Haves

  • master’s degree preferred.
