About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Nutrition and Clinical Manager,
is responsible for the organization of the Milk/Formula Room, including
preparation, distribution, and inventory of human milk (HM), both donor and
maternal HM, and specialized feedings for adult and pediatric patients.
Specialized feedings include all infant, pediatric, and adult formulas and
calorie concentrations that are not available as ready to feed. The Milk and
Formula Coordinator conducts all aspects of milk/formula preparation and
distribution under safe and sanitary conditions. Demonstrates effective
communication and coordination of service between interdisciplinary team members
and patient family/caregivers. Adheres to department and hospital philosophies,
standards, objectives, and policies and procedures.
