About The Position

This job description is to outline the responsibilities and daily tasks of the Milk Receiving Operator. This role has a responsibility for ensuring both food safety and quality of Chobani product.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Dairy experience preferred
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Able to multi-task
Trouble shooting skills
Good communication skills
Understand and follow GMPs
Walking on wet floors
Be able to lift 75 lbs
Serve as back up in the absence Milk Receiving Operator

Dairy experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure that safety is number one priority and that all safety policies are followed
Taking samples and visually inspecting all milk trucks to be unloaded
Ensure that trucks are unloaded/loaded safely and efficiently
Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed safely and efficiently
Keep truck bays clean and clear so that trucks can move in and out efficiently
Keep track of cleaning timers for silos so that they are washed in a timely manner
Hook up silos for CIP in a safe and timely manner
Work closely with the QA team for sample results
Make sure all GMPs are followed
Other duties as assigned
Follow Chobani’s safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Cross trained to operate and run scale house as needed per business needs.
