Millwork Material Handler/Forklift Operator Key Responsibilities Receive, select, and load materials Operate forklift safely and efficiently Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily Maintain clean working area Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance) Perform daily safety checks on forklifts Perform basic maintenance to assigned motorized equipment Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Basic: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions Preferred: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance) Familiarity with millwork Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN) Able to measure and calculate material lengths Physical: Able to move door slabs up to 50 pounds repeatedly Able to handle pre-hung units up to 100 pounds Work in tandem using safe lifting practices Work Environment: High traffic warehouse and shop Repetitive physical motion May qualify for shift differential depending upon work schedule. Realizar las tareas adicionales que se le asignen. Requisitos: Básicos: Diploma de secundaria, preparatoria equivalente (GED) o 2 o más años de experiencia equivalente. Capacidad para entender y seguir instrucciones de seguridad/del trabajo. Aceptar realizar trabajo físico bajo toda clase de condiciones climáticas. Deseables: Experiencia con montacargas (con asiento/contrapeso). Familiaridad con la industria de la carpintería. Experiencia en el uso de escáner de control de inventario (RFN). Capacidad para medir y calcular la longitud de los materiales. Físicos: Capacidad para mover repetidamente paneles de puerta de hasta 23 kilos (50 libras).
