About The Position

A mini bar attendant is responsible for maintaining the stock and cleanliness of the small refrigerator (mini bar) in guest rooms, ensuring it is properly stocked with drinks and snacks, tracking inventory, and charging guests for items consumed, all while upholding high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 2 years of Kitchen experience
  • Attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory and cleanliness
  • Customer service skills to interact positively with guests
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and billing
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 30 pounds to 50 pounds
  • Pays attention to details and completes thorough work tasks
  • Abides to Code of Ethics
  • Handles difficult situations with composure
  • Pleasant and cooperative with co-workers, guests, and supervisors/managers

Responsibilities

  • Regularly replenishing mini bar items with drinks, snacks, and promotional materials according to hotel standards.
  • Accurately tracking the usage of mini bar items, reporting shortages, and maintaining detailed inventory records.
  • Keeping the mini bar unit clean and in good working order, including defrosting the freezer as needed.
  • Responding to guest requests for mini bar items and providing information about available products.
  • Ensuring guests are charged correctly for items consumed from the mini bar.
  • Communicating any issues with mini bars or inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Keep mini bar storeroom neat and organized
