About The Position

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated
Pine, is seeking an MIS Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Abbeville, AL.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic IT skills who enjoys helping
others and wants to grow in the technology field. This is a full-time position

This position is entry level with opportunities for advancement for someone who
is dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys troubleshooting technology issues.

Requirements

• Basic computer and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn new technology and work in a team environment
• Previous IT or helpdesk experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist users with computer and technology issues in person, by phone, or remotely
• Help troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Guide users through system setup and basic configuration
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and document issues
• Escalate more complex issues when needed
• Work with team members to provide reliable IT support
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved
