About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mission Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to perform integrated, multidisciplinary assessments that assess survivability of critical U.S. and allied national/theater mission systems, networks, architectures, infrastructures, and assets. Blue Team assessments teams aim to ensure continuity to DoW missions and critical infrastructure by assessing the vulnerabilities and survivability against a broad spectrum of threats including accidents, natural disasters, technological failure, information system attacks, terrorists, radio frequency weapons (RFW), sabotage, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD). This challenging and exciting work will provide you the opportunity to travel CONUS and OCONUS to the most important DoW defense systems and critical infrastructure to ensure the survivability of any threat or attack. This is an exciting opportunity to experience travelling to destinations around the world and protecting mission critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of a degree, commensurate operational experience may be substituted.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%
  • Must have a Valid US Passport
  • Must have Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of DoW Strategic telecommunications, National level systems, and architecture assets and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of peer subject matter areas: cyberspace operations, cyber transport, adversarial operations, utilities, structural protection and response, weapons of mass destruction, emergency response, surveillance operations, electromagnetic protection.
  • Experience in risk management or DoW Mission Assurance programs, analysis or assessment
  • An understanding of DoD Strategic telecommunications, National level systems, and architecture assets and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of peer subject matter areas: cyberspace operations, cyber transport, adversarial operations, utilities, structural protection and response, weapons of mass destruction, emergency response, surveillance operations, electromagnetic protection.

Responsibilities

  • Shall coordinate pre-assessment requirements to properly scope the assessment, providing inputs to the government TC and Assessment Coordinator to assist with the on-site coordination of the assessment, preparing the onsite briefings, and preparing the final written report.
  • Conducting pre-site survey(s); and conducting analysis of information gathered from applicable systems; orders; and plans as it relates to the assessment mission focus.
  • Conduct asset and infrastructure dependency decomposition and analysis on mission critical nodes
  • Serve as a Parsons lead contractor and team leader coordinating the activities of 10 experienced subject matter experts
  • Utilizes expertise in one of the following areas: intelligence, strategic planning, system operations, or command and control architecture.
