About The Position

The Mission Assurance Analyst/Assessor shall provide effective solutions against threats and hazards at the state and federal levels of government by conducting mission assurance assessments in accordance with assessment requirements defined in the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45). Provide effective solutions against threats and hazards at the state and federal levels of government by conducting mission assurance assessments in accordance with assessment requirements defined in the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45). Assess the impact of utilities, dependency on external facilities and commodities, transportation and disposal, and other services required. Traces the source of utilities / resources such as water, electric, gas, fuel, food, heating/ ventilation/and air conditioning, office supplies, sewage, and trash disposal. Assess overall security operations of a site or asset to include applicable threats and related vulnerability factors. Research, analyze, and develop recommendations on topics related to Mission Assurance and critical infrastructure protection. Utilize specialized computer programs to identify vulnerabilities in DoD/CIKR systems. Perform assessments on support systems to identify vulnerabilities related to UAS threats. Plan, organize, and coordinate efforts across organizational lines, ensuring the progress of requirements development. Monitor ongoing operations and anticipate potential challenges. Develop and instruct training curricula focused on the protection of Civilian-Defense Critical Infrastructure. Instruct state, local, and private sector partners on Mission Assurance best practices across the United States and its territories.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Strong understanding of Mission Assurance Assessments and the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years)
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning
  • May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
