As part of our C5ISR Solutions Strategy and Engineering Team (SET), you will architect solutions that support the acquisition and development of military capabilities, protect national security, and keep critical information and infrastructure secure. We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to add their skills to our team supporting the development of command and control, communications, computers, cybersecurity, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems for shipboard and aircraft. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies to develop real-world solutions. In this job, you will: Perform mission engineering to analyze operational needs and utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to ensure capabilities are optimized to meet mission outcomes. Architect solutions utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach with the latest Systems Modeling Language (SysML) tools. Integrate, install, and test C5ISR systems in laboratory and operational environments. Acquire and mature your knowledge of a broad range of C5ISR technologies and apply your expertise to solve emerging challenges. Lead projects of increasing complexity and leverage the diversity of a global defense company to advance your career goals. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Candidates will be required to work on site, including some duties in classified buildings. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
