SAIC is seeking a Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineer for an Air Force TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. This exciting and important position will support the delivery of local and distributed virtual and constructive training environments to US, allied, coalition, and partner military forces. The M&S Engineer will: · Provide M&S support for all federations, models, and systems through the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) in preparation for, during, and after events, including configuration management, system integration, troubleshooting, software and hardware support, and database (unit, terrain, visual and entity) development. “Events” refer to activities requiring M&S support, including: o Training missions, exercises and mission rehearsals. o Functional, operational, risk reduction, and integration tests. · Identify and submit innovative M&S solutions to enhance existing capabilities. · Review test plans and develop test benches for software libraries. · Ensure models and simulations comply with DoW and USAF Information Assurance and network security protocols. · Provide support for all models, maps, underlays, and terrain databases in preparation for, during, and after events. · Prepare, coordinate, and present briefings and lead discussions with a wide range of audiences as requested by the USAF.
