Mold Cleaning Utility
About The Position
-Perform the polishing, plating, pasting, cleaning, and handling activities for all molds and mold related equipment. -Transport, move and stage mold equipment as required. -Inspect, gauge, and reassemble all H-28 plunger rings and neck rings. -Check all plungers and rings for leaks using water and air. -Make casts.-Disassemble molds and mold equipment to be scrapped.-Maintain inventory records. -Communicate all changes and problems as they occur to the shift supervisor or designate.-Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area. -Do other work as required by supervision.
Requirements
- Must have own personal tools as required.
- Verbal and written instructions and some blueprint reading.
- Maintain mold equipment within established specification and tolerances.
