About The Position

SUMMARY Disassemble, clean and reassemble components of line equipment to prepare for next production run. An incumbent may or may not perform all of the duties listed below, dependent on the specific plant for which support is provided. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Essential Functions: 1. Tear down molds/inserts/presses from previous production run. 2. Clean machines, molds and parts. 3. Install new molds; set up line equipment/presses for next production run. 4. Insure proper material and equipment in place; input specifications into computer to run the line. 5. Run line and inspect output; fine tune to insure quality product that meets specifications and proper operation of equipment. 6. Take bottles into QC lab to verify dimensions and acceptable specifications. 7. Complete required paperwork and documentation. 8. Maintain molds and tooling (milling, surface grinding, turning, drilling and tapping, sandblasting, polishing, perform leak tests); inspect before placing in storage. 9. Perform other related duties or special projects.
