Requirements

  • Three years minimum molding experience required.
  • Must have experience processing plastics and setting tools.
  • Knowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting a must.
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support processes and other activities consistent with molding department’s expectations and goals.
  • Initiate machine processes, make adjustments within process tolerances and recommend any changes for improved efficiencies.
  • Responsible for all tool changes and setup of auxiliary equipment.
  • Responsible for making the proper connections to the tools (water, hydraulic, vacuum and electrical).
  • Assist with setting up and loading material into the slitter machine.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot the injection presses and robots.
  • Must assist with troubleshooting assembly equipment.
  • Continually monitor all processes related to injection molding.
  • Analyze and resolve any process problems.
  • Resolve any product non-conformity issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the set-up and start-up of new tools and materials for trial.
  • Conform to the implementation of continuous process improvement in the molding department.
  • Must obtain and maintain a forklift certification.
