Montessori Classroom Substitute Teachers
About The Position
Khalsa Montessori School has openings for Substitute Teachers in Toddler (18mo - 3y), Primary (3 - 6y), and Elementary (9 - 12 y). This individual must be creative, loving and kind, calm, flexible, organized and dependable. They must be passionate about working with children! Experience in classroom management is necessary to be successful in the position. The following characteristics are essential components of a successful candidate: Experience working well in a team environment. The assistant is an integral part of creating a courteous, fun and energetic learning environment Assistant needs to have a positive attitude and is caring and curious about learning and working with children of all ages Ability to multitask and have strong classroom management skills Monitor students during lunch, recess, arrival and dismissal, and as needed Montessori experience is a plus Other: Khalsa Montessori School is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Requirements

- Childcare or experience working with children
- Classroom Management: 1 year
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Negative TB Test
