Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant
About The Position

We’re looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to support our Mortgage Loan Origination team and help guide customers through one of life’s biggest financial decisions – homeownership. Day in the Life – In this role, you’ll work closely with Mortgage Loan Officers to coordinate loan documentation, communicate with borrowers and business partners, and help ensure loan files move smoothly through the mortgage process. You’ll assist with ordering appraisals, credit reports, and other required documentation, track loan pipeline activity, and help ensure files are accurate and ready for submission to processing and underwriting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, attention to detail, and providing excellent customer service. You’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of mortgage lending while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. Requirements
- NMLS registration (or ability to obtain)
- Customer service or administrative experience
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently
- Detail oriented and able to follow set guidelines
Nice To Haves
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel Outlook); experience with Encompass, FISERV Navigator, AUS, and/or Director
- Knowledge of real estate lending criteria, compliance, federal/state regulations
- Knowledge of automated underwriting and agency guidelines including but not limited to FNMA, FHA, VA and USDA is a plus.
