Mortgage Process Specialist (SME)
About The Position
As a Mortgage Process Specialist, you will: Serve as a subject matter expert to the team about mortgage -related topics Contribute to the product roadmap for mortgage lending features and services Read, understand, and help translate mortgage regulations into product requirements Read, understand, and help translate underwriting guidelines into product requirements Know, discover, and document typical lending business processes Identify, select, and develop the requirements for integrated service partners Contribute to user acceptance testing of our mortgage -related features
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in mortgage lending operations (with lender or software company)
- Background in financial services technology (preferably mortgage -industry -focused)
- Ability to talk about detailed mortgage processes to non -mortgage people
- Enjoy spending time in the market to understand regulatory, guideline, and process changes in the industry
- Brilliant communicator
- Able to hold professional conversations with our target buyers and users
