About The Position

TruHome Solutions has provided private-label mortgage services to credit unions since 2004. By partnering with us, you’ll break through the barriers of cost, regulation, and technology, resulting in increased loyalty and service of your members in one of the most important times of their lives. Assists with loans in Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, REO and Claims processing. Works with law firms to obtain foreclosure timelines and documents to stay within required guidelines. Coordinates all property preservation with various vendors to ensure property is secured and required preservation is completed to guideline specifics and within allowable costs and time frames. Conveys properties to FHA, FHLMC, FNMA and VA. Works with Tax and Insurance department to ensure all Foreclosure and REO properties are paid accurately. Provide high quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Mortgage Servicing and Collection practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assist other team members in solving problems.
  • Self-Motivated with ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and listening
  • Able to adapt to and implement process change
  • Ability to identify areas for continuous improvement and make recommendations or take actions to implement solutions
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 3 - 5 year Foreclosure/Eviction and/or Claim experience.
  • Strong knowledge of collections and agency servicing requirements.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and experience

Responsibilities

  • Review customer submitted financial packages and compare them to guidelines established by investors, insurers and management to determine sufficient documentation is received. Facilitate delivery of required documents to Loss Mitigation for financial review.
  • Update system of record with key BK events using vendor notifications as triggers.
  • Assist FC team with foreclosure referrals and follow up with law firms to discuss foreclosure files, ensuring timely filing of required documents and obtaining required documents for internal records.
  • Initiate REO assignment and conduct performance monitoring of REO vendor.
  • Coordinate all property preservation with vendors to ensure property is in good condition upon conveyance.
  • Responsible for minimizing customer impacts and ensuring each customer has a positive interaction with mortgage servicing.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks, communicate them to management and take appropriate steps to avoid risk.
  • Identify potential improvement to processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships by always providing high quality customer service to all internal and external customers.Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with TruHome’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other credit union departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
