About The Position

Join the Rutland DMV team in a fast-paced, customer-focused role! The Motor Vehicle Examiner II will issue licenses, permits, and Commercial Driver's Licenses, and will administter written and road tests. You'll also assist with vehicle registrations, renewals, and provide general customer support. The ideal candidate will:

Work well independently and can make sound decisions
Have strong attention to detail
Deliver excellent customer service
Have the ability to handle and process large sums of money accurately

This is an in-person position based at the Rutland DMV.

Requirements

• Four (4) or more years of experience in a customer or client service role that includes significant public contact AND regular use of computer programs.
• A current, valid driver's license is required.
• An applicant's vision must be correctable to 20/40 (Snellen Test) in both eyes, with normal color perception and field of vision.
• A valid Commercial driver's license with all endorsements is required within one (1) year of employment.

• One (1) or more year of college coursework.
