About The Position

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION Compensation Range: $36.68 TO $55.02 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life, Retirement, Paid Time Off Position Classification: Non-Exempt

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable.)
Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
ARRT registration in Radiology (R), including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire or transfer)

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist.
Cross-trained into other modalities, including, but not limited to: DEXA and Mammography.
Experience with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.

Responsibilities

Performs MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including, but not limited to, X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm, and OR work.
Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.
Ability to operate equipment consistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction needs outside maintenance.
Maintains accurate patient records in EHR, including charging for procedures and supplies.
May be required to perform other functions within the clinic. Any additional training required will be provided.
Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
Obtains additional training or certification as required.
Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required.
Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.
Must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
Orders, stocks, and maintains supply inventory.
