About The Position
Position: MRI Tech Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Compensation & Benefits for Travellers Pay Range: $70.00 – $90.00/hr (based on experience) Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,200 – $2,600
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience (acute care setting preferred)
- Experience operating relevant MRI equipment (GE equipment knowledge preferred)
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by NYSDOH
- Current certification and registration in MRI from: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Nice To Haves
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
