About The Position

As the Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the inventory system and supply room, as well as supporting the facilities and maintenance teams with ordering parts and supplies. You will use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to issue inventory items to work orders, create and update part locations, and order new parts as needed. This position works a Monday - Friday shift – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification required (will certify at hire).
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Safety: Consistently exemplify the highest of safety standards and monitor others to the same standards. Able to pass OSHA Powered Industrial Truck training. Must wear required PPE.
  • Dependability: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions and decimal equivalents.
  • Language: Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Problem Solving: Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Analysis/Reasoning: Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Communication: Able to effectively communicate in group settings and one on one.
  • Measurement: Able to read a tape measure to 1/16” tolerance and to use calipers and possible micrometers.
  • Technology: Knowledgeable in Microsoft PC environment, including Word, Outlook and Excel, SAP... Able to learn new programs as needed.
  • Self-Management: Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing stock room preferred.
  • 1 year of Leadership Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize inventory in supply room via Maintenance Connection Software to ensure all necessary parts are on hand to run the equipment and facility. Process work orders as needed and run necessary usage reports for MRO and maintenance department. (40%)
  • Create and issue purchase orders and coordinate with vendors. (25%)
  • Directing the MRO Attendants on their daily work load. (20%)
  • Drive continuous improvement into the area through effective PDCA utilizing an MDI board. (10%)
  • Support the production staff and assist with projects and other duties as needed. (5%)
