Akkodis is seeking an MS Fabric Architect for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. Candidates must have deep expertise in data modeling and advanced SQL for building scalable, high-performance architecture. Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. MS Fabric Architect job responsibilities include: Design and implement data solutions leveraging the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, and Power BI. Develop and optimize data models (star schema, data lakehouse, medallion architecture) for scalable analytics. Perform advanced SQL queries and data transformations using Python or Spark to ensure efficient data processing. Integrate and manage Azure Data Services such as ADF, ADLS, Synapse, and Purview for secure and compliant data workflows. Ensure data governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization across all data platforms and solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions, provide technical guidance, and maintain documentation for architecture standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 6-10 years of experience in data architecture and analytics solutions. Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, and Power BI. Deep understanding of data modeling (star schema, data lakehouse, medallion) and advanced SQL with Python or Spark for data transformation.
