About The Position
Middle School Math Teacher (6–8) Santa Fe South Middle School (SFS MS) is a vibrant, high-performing middle school serving grades 6–8 on the south side of Oklahoma City. The Middle School Math Teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in mathematics while creating a structured, supportive classroom environment where students are challenged academically and supported individually. This teacher uses data-driven instruction to accelerate student growth, helps students develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and fosters a positive classroom culture grounded in high expectations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Oklahoma teaching certification (or willingness/ability to obtain)
- Strong alignment with Santa Fe South’s mission

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, standards-aligned math instruction for grades 6–8
- Plan and implement lessons with intentionality, anticipating misconceptions and supporting all learners
- Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs while maintaining high expectations
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and families
- Foster a positive classroom culture that emphasizes growth, collaboration, and academic rigor
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and school leadership
- Participate actively in Santa Fe South’s coaching model and professional learning
- Seek and implement feedback to continuously strengthen instructional practice
- Contribute positively to campus culture and student success
