Requirements

Completion of a high school diploma/GED is required.
A total of 2 years of general maintenance-related work experience is required.
Driver's License
Act 34

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience is preferred.
Military experience considered.

Responsibilities

Performing general maintenance work with minimal supervision.
Completing preventive maintenance on a variety of facility equipment.
Applying basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry/hardware, mechanical systems, and facility operations.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, equipment rooms, and shop spaces.
Keeping accurate written logs for shift responsibilities, including medical gas checks, equipment room rounds, and system logs.
Maintaining water chemistry and testing procedures for building systems.
Operating and maintaining direct digital control (DDC) building systems.
Ordering materials and supplies as needed.
Performing all work in accordance with infection control procedures.
Completing minor carpentry and painting tasks.
Recording work orders and daily hours for supervisor review.
Conducting minor plumbing repairs, including fixing fixtures, soldering leaks, replacing defective pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
Cleaning equipment and mechanical support areas.
Performing required maintenance, repair, and inspection of beds.
Assisting with snow removal, including working outdoors in adverse weather when needed.
Supporting related duties to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient facility operations.
