The Multi-Sport Lead Coach is responsible for camp introductions and rules, breaking out camp groups, assisting coaches/groups throughout the day. The Lead is a supervisor position that may also coach on a daily basis. You make us Woodward. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction for safe skill progression and a fun learning environment
- Develop caring relationships with campers and help provide the best camp experience
- Make sure the basic needs of your campers are met, both physiological and emotional
- Be present and assist with camper check-in and check-out procedures, communicate with parents daily
- Be aware of injuries, special needs, allergies, and/or mediations and communicate with medical staff and parents
- Participate in recreation activities with enthusiasm and encourage campers to do the same
- Always uphold the highest standard of professionalism in appearance and behavior: arrive on time, maintain a positive and friendly attitude, behave in a manner appropriate to our youngest campers (4 years old)
- General cleaning and maintenance of facilities, including the Bunker, Cafeteria, Meeting Areas, and campus, and other duties as assigned
