WUFT and the Innovation News Center (INC) at the University of Florida is hiring a Multimedia Content Producer to help shape content across our digital platforms and support a dual mission of community service and student education. Located in the College of Journalism and Communications, the INC is a multiplatform newsroom serving north central Florida. We produce award-winning content for WUFT-TV/FM, WRUF-TV/FM, WUFT.org, WRUF.com, the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network (FPREN) and beyond. This position supports the daily digital news operations of WUFT News by editing, publishing and coordinating student-produced journalism across digital platforms. The role emphasizes editorial quality, ethical standards, workflow coordination and student mentorship in a learning-centered newsroom. What you’ll do Edit and publish digital news content produced by students; Assist with cross-platform digital posting and coordination; Monitor analytics and support audience-focused publishing; Assist in supervising OPS employees and student assistants; Lead by example in our student-centered newsroom, contributing to editorial meetings and long-term planning; Help sustain a newsroom that operates year-round, with self-directed reporting, writing and newsletter production.
