The Multimedia Strategy Manager defines and advances FTI’s enterprise‑wide video and multimedia storytelling strategy, ensuring multimedia investments align with business priorities, brand evolution, and long‑term growth. This role focuses on strategic planning, roadmap development, resource forecasting, and future‑state capability building rather than day‑to‑day execution. The Strategy Manager partners closely with Creative, Marketing, business leaders, and the Multimedia Team Lead to ensure strategy is grounded in execution realities while positioning the multimedia function for scale, impact, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in video or multimedia production, including demonstrated strategic leadership.
  • Proven success developing multimedia or content strategies aligned to business and brand objectives.
  • Strong experience with resource planning, roadmap development, prioritization, and capacity forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of multimedia production workflows, execution complexity, and creative processes.
  • Strong storytelling instincts paired with business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent cross‑functional communication and influence skills.
  • Travel: 5-10%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, evolves, and communicates FTI’s video and multimedia storytelling strategy across the enterprise.
  • Translates business objectives, marketing priorities, and brand initiatives into clear, actionable multimedia roadmaps.
  • Establishes long‑term direction for how multimedia supports awareness, engagement, recruitment, education, and growth.
  • Ensures multimedia strategy aligns with broader brand systems, content strategies, and go‑to‑market priorities.
  • Evaluates opportunities to scale, standardize, or optimize multimedia efforts while preserving storytelling quality and impact.
  • Leads capacity planning, resource forecasting, and workload modeling for multimedia initiatives across teams and time horizons.
  • Guides prioritization of multimedia projects to balance strategic value, urgency, complexity, and available capacity.
  • Partners with stakeholders to set realistic expectations around timelines, scope, and production approach.
  • Aligns multimedia planning with budget considerations, investment tradeoffs, and long‑term sustainability.
  • Identifies when work should be executed internally versus supported by vendors or external partners.
  • Partners closely with the Multimedia Team Lead to align strategy with execution capabilities, workflows, and production realities.
  • Incorporates execution feedback, performance insights, and quality considerations into ongoing strategy refinement.
  • Ensures strategic plans account for technical constraints, production complexity, and team skill distribution.
  • Supports the Team Lead in identifying where process, tooling, or workflow changes are needed to enable future strategy.
  • Identifies future skills, roles, tools, and capabilities required to support FTI’s evolving multimedia needs.
  • Anticipates shifts in video formats, platforms, production models, and storytelling approaches.
  • Informs hiring plans, role evolution, training priorities, and vendor strategies in partnership with leadership.
  • Evaluates and recommends investments in tools, platforms, templates, and infrastructure to support long‑term scalability.
  • Champions continuous improvement across the multimedia function.
  • Represents multimedia strategy in leadership, planning, and cross‑functional discussions.
  • Serves as a strategic advisor to Creative, Marketing, Communications, and business partners on multimedia opportunities.
  • Communicates strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
  • Advocates for thoughtful, intentional use of multimedia that balances creative ambition with business value.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
