About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Music Therapists to provide services to students at a school district in Alvin, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide behavioral and mental health services to support students enrolled in the school district, in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with district policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Board Certification
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- School-Based experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct music therapy screenings, referrals, and evaluations in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Participate in ARD committee meetings to develop or revise student IEPs.
- Provide and document music therapy services as outlined in each IEP.
- Maintain FERPA-compliant confidentiality and accurate service records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
