Job Description U.S. Bank Fund Services is looking to hire a Mutual Fund Tax Accountant to support the day-to-day financial and compliance operations of a mutual fund, exchange-traded fund, closed-end fund and/or business development company client. In this role, you will be responsible for primary contact with fund clients including coordination of activities and communications of fund operations and service providers such as investment advisor, custodian, transfer agent, fund accountant, attorneys and auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
• Two to five years of related work experience

Nice To Haves

• General knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect the mutual fund industry and their clients
• Experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and/or reviewing a fund budget based on contractual agreements, fee proposals and expense activity trends.
• Helping prepare and/or review financial statements for client shareholders and test/review portfolio compliance with SEC, GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
