Varian is seeking an entry-level Installations Project Manager. In this role you will plan, coordinate and supervise the implementation of multiple Varian products with our customers. This opportunity is suitable for a candidate who is looking to develop their career in project management. Requirements

Familiar with project management and project management tools
Fundamental understanding of products in the scope of projects assigned
Ability to follow/execute a project plan from initiation to completion
Desire/Openness to travel as needed for projects and learning opportunities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic negotiating and conflict management skills
Structured working methodology
Strong customer service acumen
Willingness to take feedback, learn and grow in this role to develop project management skills

Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates and supervises the implementation of Varian products with our customers, contractors, and Varian internal stakeholders
Works on single-product projects of diverse scopes and dependencies
Performs routine project management tasks to ensure customer compliance with technical requirements for equipment implementation and minor upgrades
Manages many projects concurrently for multiple products
Participates and/or facilitates on-site visits and conference calls
Supports customers and contractors to prepare the facility for a successful and efficient implementation or upgrade of a product
Provides qualified input and feedback with support from subject matter experts (SMEs)
Identifies and mitigates project risks/issues and escalates as necessary
Coordinates resources and equipment shipment schedules
Prepares reports detailing installation activities, including tight control of installation timeline/forecast
Provides feedback on process improvement, training, and documentation
