Job Description The JCPRD Natural Resource Internship provides an opportunity for college students and recent graduates to gain real world experience in natural area management. The internship is designed to provide a broad set of skills that aren't available in the classroom including: - Native seed collection and processing with community partners. - Instruction and operation of Utility Terrain Vehicles, Tractors, and Forestry equipment. - Invasive plant removal, chemical mixing, and safe herbicide use. - ArcGIS and natural resource data collection. -Wildlife/Fisheries tasks and Prescribed Fire opportunities if available. What you bring to the Internship: Ability to work outdoors. Energy and enthusiasm for field work. Coursework in natural resources, ecology, environmental science or a related field. Valid Driver's License
