NATURE CENTER CAMP COUNSELOR
About The Position
Are you passionate about the great outdoors and inspiring the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts? Join our team as a Nature Camp Counselor this summer! This position involves facilitating hands-on activities for our engaging, high-energy Nature Camp. Counselors must be willing to learn to instruct outdoor recreational activities such as archery, fishing, and canoeing. While not required, preference is given to applicants with experience in childcare, education, and/or the natural sciences. This role requires a Monday through Friday commitment of 7-8 hours each day from approximately May 27 until August 8. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and must provide their own daily transportation to Prairie Park Nature Center. Applicant must be certified or willing to become certified in First Aid and CPR. Successful candidates must pass a background check. Resume submission is optional, but highly encouraged. Successful candidates are required to pass a background check.
