About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a NC/CNC Machine Operator - 3rd Shift. The core hours are 10:30pm to 6:30am. The hourly rate for this position is $21.71 + $1.50/hour shift premium per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Perform a wide range of machining operations on two or more Numerically Controlled Machines. Assist in the setting up of the equipment as directed and work with operation sheets, tapes and blueprints as required. Change tooling, load automatic tool changes and maintain quality standards by checking parts with adjustable or fixed gauges. Assist in isolating and correcting malfunctions in machining control units. Perform various internal operations related to producing a finished product. Maintain work area, machines and control units in a clean, neat and orderly condition and move material to and from workstations. Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities such as minor maintenance that includes cleaning, inspection, minor lubrication and tightening loose bolts. Duties involve application of some specialized knowledge and experience and the use of judgment to plan and perform sequence of operations or procedures within limits of standard or recognized methods and established precedent.

Requirements

  • Minimum one(1) years’ previous work experience in CNC operation
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Syracuse facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
