About The Position

1st Shift NDT Technician – X-Ray Operator (Level 1) Location: Mentor, Ohio Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Schedule Options: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday Join Our Team We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NDT Technician – X-Ray Operator (Level 1) to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring product quality and safety by inspecting components using advanced X-ray technology. What You’ll Do Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with specifications Operate X-ray and testing equipment to evaluate product quality Perform system capability checks and follow established procedures Accurately document work performed and maintain proper records Handle materials, including hazardous waste, in compliance with safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support inventory movement and manage X-ray film storage Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Perform additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience) At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment Casting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and flexibility with work hours Strong sense of urgency and accountability Positive attitude and effective communication skills What It Takes to Succeed Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment Willingness to learn and study to obtain Level 1 certification Ability to pass a visual acuity exam Comfortable working under pressure with tight timelines Commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards Why Join Us?
