About The Position
CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif. CHOC is exclusively committed to the health and well-being of children through clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced treatment to pediatric patients. Neonatologist-Per Diem CHOC, which is now part of Rady Children’s Health, Neonatology Division is seeking a, per diem, Board Certified/Eligible Neonatologist to join our well-established group of 70 neonatologists providing coverage at our regional 100 bed level 4 NICU at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and/or 13 other level 3 and level 2 NICU’s with additional locations in Southern California. The group also has an expanding newborn hospitalist program and is supported by advance practice providers. CHOC Specialists has 26 pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty divisions which provide the wide spectrum of pediatric subspecialty clinical services, from basic care to leading-edge treatment for diseases and medical conditions affecting children. Comprised of more than 350 recognized pediatric subspecialists, our physicians and advance practice providers provide expert, innovative and compassionate care for infants, children, adolescents and, in some specialties, adult patients. Successful candidates will be eligible for unrestricted California medical licenses. Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
